Senior Data Management and Quality Analyst

About the role

The Data Performance team is part of Data Asset Management within Global Operations and is responsible for improving the quality, performance, and value of TransUnion’s data assets. The team monitors data quality throughout the data lifecycle, identifies insights that support informed decision-making, and partners across the organization to ensure TransUnion’s data continues to meet evolving customer and business needs.

This position reports into a Manager for Data Analysis. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in TransUnion’s credit and alternative data assets and provide subject matter expertise across business and data initiatives.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights that support business and customer outcomes.
• Translate technical findings and analytical results into clear recommendations, practical solutions, and measurable business value.
• Lead data quality investigations, identify root causes, and implement enhancements that improve data performance and customer outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain data quality measures, reporting, and dashboards for operational and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with business and technology teams to support Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for major data events, platform changes, and product enhancements.
• Develop prototypes, analyses, and data-driven solutions that support innovation, product development, and new market opportunities.
• Independently lead projects from initial concept through implementation while balancing strategic objectives, competing priorities, and executional details.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
