Senior Data Engineer (Home Lending Originations)

Contract duration: 6 months (Full Time)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Ab Initio, Python, PL/SQL, and Teradata to source data from complex SOR environments.
• Cloud Integration: Develop and optimize data solutions leveraging Google BigQuery for analytics and reporting.
• SDLC & Automation: Apply CI/CD practices, manage workflows with Airflow, and automate processes using Unix shell scripting.
• Data Modeling: Translate business blueprints into technical design requirements, ensuring robust data models and governance frameworks.
• Collaboration: Partner with SOR contacts and BI consumers to design and implement required changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Analysis & Governance: Conduct data analysis, enforce governance standards, and deliver solutions that support both structured and ad hoc usage.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Experience with Python and PySpark.
• Experience in solution design.
• Experience in data modeling, governance, and analysis.
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Teradata.
• Experience with BigQuery in production environments.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Airflow, and Unix shell scripting.

Pay

Pay Range: $48/hr to $53/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
