The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to join its Mission Critical team. This individual will provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of hyperscale data centers and other mission-critical environments while mentoring engineering teams and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead electrical design for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities
  • Develop electrical distribution systems, equipment layouts, and power topologies from concept through construction
  • Oversee project teams, mentor engineers, and support technical development
  • Serve as a primary client contact and help drive project execution
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents
  • Perform QA/QC reviews and maintain high engineering standards
  • Support proposal development, project planning, and resource forecasting
  • Champion the use of emerging technologies, digital tools, and AI-enabled workflows to improve project delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 13+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, life safety, and mission-critical infrastructure
  • Experience with electrical system studies, equipment sizing, and code compliance
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and mentor engineering teams
  • Data center or mission-critical project experience preferred
