About the role

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Consultant to provide data solutions (analysis, data engineering, data science, etc.) to a Department of Defense client. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary, high-impact team supporting the client in achieving infrastructure excellence. The ideal candidate will perform technical tasks including building data pipelines, developing visualizations, and building predictive models using advanced tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Workshop and Slate within Palantir Foundry. The consultant will also ensure data integrity and security, adhere to best practices in data management, and stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics. Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Build data pipelines, develop visualizations, and create predictive models
  • Use tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Workshop and Slate within Palantir Foundry
  • Ensure data integrity and security
  • Adhere to best practices in data management
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics
  • Perform machine learning and statistical analysis (advantageous)
  • Design and build ETL programs, interfaces, and data reconciliation processes
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization

Requirements

  • Active and maintained "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of infrastructure and MILCON
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
