About the role
Tempus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. Our platform integrates real-world evidence to provide actionable insights for cancer treatment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical data models using dbt and SQL
- Create reports for central monitoring, KPI metrics, and study performance visualization
- Develop data automation pipelines for data delivery and handle raw data for analysis-ready datasets
- Support integration of data across data marts and manage de-identification of protected health information
- Maintain best practices in code, validate, and document
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in analytical or consulting roles within Life Sciences or Healthcare
- Strong command of SQL and scripting languages (R or Python)
- Experience with BI software like Looker
- Experience in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology, or clinical trials
- Experience building client-ready deliverables and outputs
- Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and visualization
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Ownership of deliverables, navigating ambiguity, and managing multiple projects
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to make a positive impact in healthcare
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities
Benefits
The expected salary range is $80,000-$115,000 in NY/CA, with actual salary varying based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, including incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical, and other benefits.
