Location: Midwest City, OK. Full-time day shift with up to 10% travel. Must hold or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance; current Secret clearance required.
About the role
SAIC is seeking a Sr. Cyber Engineer to support USAF operational aircraft and weapons-systems cybersecurity efforts. The work focuses on network-architecture analysis, identification of vulnerabilities, and development of solutions to protect friendly systems from unauthorized infiltration or exploitation.
Responsibilities
- Support USAF System Program Offices, Cybersecurity Program Leads, Program Managers, IPTs, and Systems Engineers in identifying Critical Program Information, network architecture, and message-protocol vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement network-security designs for supported programs.
- Complete Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation updates.
- Coordinate and support completion of Interim Authority to Test packages.
- Complete and support completion of Cybersecurity Impact Identification Checklists.
- Coordinate and support completion of Cybersecurity Impact Evaluation Reports.
- Perform cybersecurity analyses and participate in program reviews.
- Support development, implementation, verification, and validation of cybersecurity requirements for supported programs.
- Participate in meetings, teleconferences, integration, verification and validation events, and technical demonstrations.
- Provide analysis and prepare documentation in support of Government statutes.
- Periodic travel from Tinker AFB, OK to vendor and other government installations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (preferred).
- Network systems architect/engineer work experience (preferred).
- Previous work with Air Force avionics systems (preferred).
