Senior Cyber Defense Infrastructure Engineer (Security Tooling Operations)

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and operationalization of security tools post-selection
• Implement baseline configurations and ensure tools meet production readiness
• Develop monitoring, runbooks, and processes for ongoing operational support
• Configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade security tools as per standards
• Manage security tool lifecycles including scaling and decommissioning
• Partner with incident response teams to ensure operational readiness during events
• Identify and implement improvements in tooling reliability and efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with enterprise security platforms
• Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, or cloud security tools
• Strong understanding of Linux/Windows systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with system integrations, logging and telemetry pipelines
• Experience with change, incident, and problem management processes
