About the role
This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury, MA. The role involves defining security requirements, performing analysis, preparing compliance documentation, and conducting cybersecurity audits.
Responsibilities
- Define security requirements and design solutions, providing guidance and direction related to security technologies.
- Perform analysis on security collected data and test results.
- Prepare and maintain compliance security related documentation.
- Define cybersecurity requirements, design, and architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies.
- Perform and/or provide guidance and oversight on vulnerability assessments, defining, negotiating, and executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events.
- Collaborate with program and engineering disciplines and ensuring cybersecurity solution alternatives.
- Conduct cybersecurity audits to ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of the security posture.
- Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management framework (RMF).
- Active and transferable US government issued security clearance is required on day 1. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.2 and DoDI 5200.39.
- Experience working U.S. Government contract proposals as an Information Assurance Engineer subject matter expert.
- Security related Network (e.g. Cisco) and Operating System certification or training.
- DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level-III Compliant Certification (CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, etc.).
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
