Senior Customer Solutions Manager , Strategic Accounts
About the Role
As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Customer Solutions Manager you will be responsible for helping guide technically advanced AWS customers along their multi-year journey to cloud and AI adoption. In this highly visible role you will apply your technical expertise and complex program leadership to ensure that all AWS teams are working together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer.
You will be a critical partner to our customers, leveraging your experience with large scale cloud transformations and AI adoption. You will guide the customer through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives and scaling mechanisms. You will interface with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between the other core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams, planning and supporting major workload migrations.

Responsibilities
- Translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, working backwards from our customers' key milestones
- Own the execution of education plans, roadmap to business outcome alignments, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live events and transitions
- Ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives and scaling mechanisms
- Drive collaboration between core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams
- Plan and support major workload migrations
- Evangelize AWS services and influence customers for adopting them
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of the customers' successful migration to AWS
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
- 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
- Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar

Pay
- USA, CA, Irvine: $153,600 – $207,800 USD annually
- USA, CA, San Francisco: $176,600 – $239,000 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $153,600 – $207,800 USD annually
Schedule
Role could require travel depending on candidate location, 25-35%.
