Senior Customer Engineer - LATAM
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Customer Engineer - LATAM to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will act as a trusted technical partner to prospects and customers across LATAM, helping translate data architecture needs into clear business value. You will work closely with Account Executives, technical stakeholders, and post-sales teams to guide proof-of-concept efforts and support revenue growth. The position blends technical sales engineering, stakeholder influence, and solution consulting in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for success in this customer-facing role. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects on data architecture and business outcomes
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels to influence buying decisions
- Bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders during proof-of-concept phases
- Share best practices and technical guidance during customer and prospect engagements
- Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth and customer success
- Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure value propositions are realized after the sale
- Develop relationships and understand the needs of technical stakeholders in your portfolio
Qualifications
- Fluency in conversational Spanish and English
- Ability to communicate at all stakeholder levels, from developers to executives
- Proven success in qualifying and selling technical solutions to executives
- 6+ years in Software-as-a-Service Sales Engineering or a similar role
- Experience with SQL, dbt, Python, and data transformation tools
- Familiarity with cloud data technologies like Google Cloud and AWS
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Pay
$110,000 – $130,000 annually
