About the Position
Senior Custodians assigned to the Sheriff's Office supervise and direct the work of incarcerated persons in cleaning buildings and grounds. Positions are located at various locations throughout the department.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of paid, custodial experience
- Completion of safety training courses for compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations within six (6) months of hire
- Completion of a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) in Commercial Cleaning or equivalent, is highly-desirable, and may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience
- Domestic housekeeping experience is not considered qualifying

Pay
Future Salary Increases: June 25, 2027 - 3.97% increase to base pay (3.97% Market Increase)
Base Salary: $49,275.20 annually
Schedule
Occasional nights and weekends may be required based on operational needs
