Senior Custodial Lead, Technology

About the role

The Senior Custodial Lead, Technology is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas and providing guidance to custodial staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial duties according to the daily schedule.
• Provides work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by the Custodial Supervisor.
• Schedules and trains staff as needed.
• Operates motorized cleaning equipment.
• Tracks equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedules cleanups and repairs as necessary.
• Maintains daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Tracked and maintains supplies inventory.
• Aids in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Performs quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Reports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Reports employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Maintains proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies.
• Corrects at-risk behavior and reports to supervisor immediately.
• Provides recommendations for areas needing improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed all safety and task training certifications.
• May require forklift certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequent sitting and talking/listening.
• Occasional lifting and moving up to 35 pounds.

Pay and Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
$28.00 - $29.00 per hour
