Senior Culinary Supervisor - FSU Athletics - Concessions

About the role

The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor oversees the food service operation, ensuring appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. Responsibilities include overseeing setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations, supervising cooking and preparation of food items, maintaining inventory, delegating tasks, providing coaching and feedback, training staff, and maintaining customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
• Supervision of cooking and preparation of food items according to recipes and brand requirements
• Maintenance of a safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage environment
• Accurate inventory tracking according to departmental policies
• Delegation of tasks to employees as necessary
• Coaching and performance feedback to staff members
• Aid in manager-led employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and updating contact information
• Training and mentoring other food service workers
• Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor
• Adherence to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
• Effective communication with staff via email, phone, inter-office mail, etc.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
• Prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
• Strong leadership, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively
• Basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology systems

Qualifications

• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
• May require uniforms and/or PPE
