About the Role
The Senior CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Responsibilities include serving as a lead when leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, assisting in orientation, and training. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure adherence to imaging standards
- Ensure patient safety during procedures
- Serve as a lead when leadership is unavailable
- Act as a resource for team members
- Assist in orientation and training of staff
- Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours completed
- 2 years of relevant experience
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
