Senior Cross-Category Marketing Manager, AWS Cross Category Marketing
About the role
The Senior Marketing Manager will own the overall AWS portfolio messaging and define how AWS's product narratives translate into customer-facing messages across our highest-visibility channels for major launch moments. This role translates complexity into clarity, defining the structure customers navigate, crafting the stories they encounter during our biggest moments, and ensuring that AWS's web presence, launch experiences, and digital channels tell one coherent, compelling story.
Responsibilities
- Own the top-level AWS portfolio marketing messaging, working with brand and product marketing teams to tell a cohesive story about why customers should choose AWS
- Partner with the Integrated Demand Center to map and optimize the customer journey across AWS’s major launch events, ensuring the experience feels intentional and connected from first touchpoint to conversion, not fragmented across channels
- Maintain the editorial calendar and prioritization mechanisms that govern AWS’s surfaces
- Own how AWS's 250+ products are organized, categorized, and presented across AWS.com — including the homepage and global navigation
- Partner with demand generation teams on how launches and portfolio priorities are reflected in scaled marketing channels
- Serve as the connective tissue across product marketing teams — ensuring the portfolio story is consistent everywhere customers encounter AWS
Requirements
This role requires 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs, experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams, experience in product marketing, brand strategy, or portfolio marketing for technology companies, and strong writing and editorial skills with demonstrated ability to distill complexity into clarity.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B cloud computing or enterprise software marketing
- Experience leading marketing for major launch events or product announcements at scale
- Experience using data and metrics (engagement analytics, A/B testing, customer research) to inform marketing decisions
