The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for managing a profitable portfolio of business through rigorous credit analysis and monitoring. This role involves assessing buyer creditworthiness, developing financial and industry sector outlooks, and advising internal teams on underwriting requirements. The position is key to maintaining portfolio quality and supporting informed credit decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a profitable business portfolio within agreed parameters using sound credit analysis techniques
• Conduct buyer visits or telephone interviews to gather information for portfolio monitoring
• Monitor high-risk buyers and collect proprietary data to maintain accurate buyer grading
• Perform financial and credit analysis to assign appropriate credit ratings
• Communicate underwriting requirements and market insights to sales agents, underwriters, and customers
• Create industry sector outlooks based on public and proprietary information to identify market trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance; MBA preferred
• 3-5 years of financial management experience in banking, credit insurance brokerage, or credit insurance
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of financial software and spreadsheets

Pay

Total compensation range: $105,000-$115,000. Placement within range depends on experience, skills, and location.
