Senior Creative Operations Producer
The Opportunity
As the Senior Creative Operations Producer at Flock Studios, you will sit at the intersection of creative execution and operational excellence, working as the connective tissue between Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Operations, Design, Video, and Events. This is an integrated producer role, not a traditional film producer role focused on script development or narrative interviews. You will personally own production start to finish, from on-set planning through post-production to final delivery, for multiple small-to-mid-sized brand projects running at the same time. You'll work alongside a Senior Video Producer who leads the department's larger-scale productions, following the same production practices at a different scale, and you'll partner closely with the Senior Director, Head of Production, to help execute, maintain, and evolve the systems and standards the department runs on.
What You'll Do
- Production Leadership, Start to Finish: Own production (start to finish) for multiple small-to-mid-sized brand and video projects running at the same time: on-set planning and scheduling, the shoot, post-production, and final delivery.
- Production Leadership, Start to Finish: Build project plans, production schedules, resource allocations, and delivery timelines using the department's existing planning tools and templates.
- Production Leadership, Start to Finish: Partner closely with videographers, editors, designers, creative leads, and story leads to ensure successful execution.
- Production Leadership, Start to Finish: Travel as needed to support productions and key events (approximately 20–30%).
- Creative Operations & Workflow Partnership: Partner with the Senior Director and department leads to execute, maintain, and evolve the department's production workflows, standards, and playbooks, bringing your own ideas and field experience to the table.
- Creative Operations & Workflow Partnership: Uphold best practices for project intake, planning, approvals, stakeholder communication, feedback collection, and delivery across Brand and Creative teams.
- Creative Operations & Workflow Partnership: Identify process gaps and operational friction, and help shape and pilot solutions alongside the Senior Director.
- Creative Operations & Workflow Partnership: Keep documentation, templates, and standards current and useful as the team scales.
- Post-Production Operations: Own review cycles, stakeholder feedback processes, approvals, and final asset delivery for assigned productions.
- Post-Production Operations: Enforce standards for version control, asset organization, naming, and folder structure across projects.
- Post-Production Operations: Champion Frame.io as the single home for partner and stakeholder feedback.
- Post-Production Operations: Keep creative feedback loops efficient, actionable, and aligned with project goals.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a connective layer across Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Video, Design and Leadership.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Provide visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Help teams navigate ambiguity and maintain momentum on complex initiatives.
- Event Content Delivery: Partner closely with the dedicated Events Team. While they own live event logistics, this role owns production and delivery of the creative and video assets feeding into those events.
- AI-Enabled Operations: Use AI tools to improve production planning, workflow management, documentation, and asset organization.
- AI-Enabled Operations: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and increase operational efficiency.
- AI-Enabled Operations: Apply the AI-enabled workflows the Senior Director has established, while maintaining quality and brand standards.
Required Skillset
- 8–10+ years of experience as a content producer, creative operations producer, or brand producer within an in-house tech creative team or a top-tier creative agency.
- Proven experience leading productions end-to-end, from planning through final delivery.
- Deep understanding of creative production, post-production, and content development workflows.
- Advanced, daily operational fluency with Asana, Frame.io, and Google Workspace.
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools inside a creative production cycle.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Execution over ideation: you thrive in logistics, workflow execution, and delivery, and don't need to own the strategy or the story to love bringing it to life.
- Executive presence and a clear sense of what "good" looks like at the leadership level; comfortable representing polished, on-brand work upward.
- A genuine, above-and-beyond ownership of quality: you care as much about what your team delivers as what you personally deliver, and it shows in the craft and brand consistency of the work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience contributing to and operating within an established production workflow system inside a growing organization.
- Familiarity with creative asset management systems and content operations practices.
- A builder's instinct: comfortable turning a rough idea into a working dashboard, channel structure, or automated report, not just maintaining what already exists.
- Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement, with instincts for where standards and practices need to evolve.
