Senior Creative Motion Designer (Short Term)

About the Role
This hands-on role is pivotal in delivering crafted brand narratives at scale. You're an editing, content-creating, story-telling, asset-evaluating, problem-solver. You are a strong collaborator who is organized and works efficiently towards deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the overall Roblox brand by creating compelling, nimbly crafted video materials about our brand, products and features
- Contribute to how Roblox is defined and understood across all marketing surfaces
- Build cinematic style trailers, short form videos, and presentation and sales enablement videos
- Show these on a wide range of surfaces including app stores, web, social, conferences
- Work with copywriters and designers to define ideas, and maintain a cohesive brand across all surfaces and channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create, refine and craft video content that tells easily understood narratives
- Source music and sound design
- Implement feedback from creative leads and cross-functional partners
- Champion creative and technical development among team members
Requirements
- At least 5 + years of professional experience editing for commercial and corporate content
- An outstanding reel that showcases crafted editing
- Experience in motion design, and motion graphics
- Experienced knowledge in NLE software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- Proficient in After Effects and the ability to execute on motion graphic templates as well as other Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder)
- Technical knowledge of video codecs and design principles
- Strong visual style with a keen focus on cinematic editorial composition
- Professional experience in music theory and audio editing capabilities
- A thoughtful and resilient mindset. You understand that the editing process is iterative and have the ability to operate nimbly

Pay
The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range.
Annual Salary Range $184,820—$230,660 USD
