On-siteBusiness Development$90k/yrFull-time

Role intent: Lead Walmart replenishment and customer forecast performance across assigned businesses, translating customer signals and Unilever supply constraints into clear actions that improve in-stock, service, inventory health, speed-to-shelf, and sales outcomes.

About the Role

The Senior CPFR on Walmart Consumables owns collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment execution at a senior level. This role is accountable for connecting Walmart demand signals, replenishment behavior, customer inventory health, Unilever supply plans, and commercial priorities into one integrated operating view.

Category-specific scope: The Senior CPFR will support Walmart Consumables categories within Beauty, Personal Care, and Home Care, with assigned category ownership aligned to business need, customer priorities, and team coverage. The role manages Walmart inventory replenishment and customer forecast inputs across item, department, category, node, and event views using customer and internal tools such as Retail Link / Luminate, NOVA or replenishment portals, Power BI, Excel, SAP, Anaplan, Databricks or SQL-enabled data sources, and automation workflows where available.

This position is expected to move beyond tactical reporting. The Senior CPFR anticipates supply chain risk, leads cross-functional recovery plans, influences Walmart and internal stakeholders through data-backed storytelling, and helps build scalable ways of working for the broader Walmart Supply Chain team. The role directly supports Walmart in-stock goals, Unilever dispatch and fill rate execution, inventory targets, modular and transition readiness, promotional forecast quality, item lifecycle management, and strategic initiatives that improve customer experience and end-to-end supply chain speed.

Responsibilities

  • Own Walmart replenishment and forecast execution for assigned Consumables categories across Beauty, Personal Care, and Home Care.
  • Monitor in-stocks, inventory, service, POS, orders, and forecast signals to identify risks early and recommend clear actions.
  • Partner with Walmart replenishment, CBMs, Planning, Logistics, and Data/Analytics to support promotions, modular transitions, lifecycle events, recovery plans, and process improvements.
  • Turn data into concise recommendations that improve customer experience, inventory health, and speed to shelf.
  • Lead weekly/monthly operating rhythms, exception management, recovery planning, and customer-facing discussions with strong follow-through and clear ownership of next steps.
  • Balance in-stock improvement, inventory productivity, supply constraints, forecast bias, transportation realities, and customer expectations while making practical recommendations.
  • Build scalable processes, dashboards, trackers, and automation opportunities that reduce manual work and improve speed, accuracy, and visibility for the Walmart Consumables team.
  • Coach analysts or peer CPFR resources, raise the capability of the broader team, share best practices, and help develop a high-performing customer experience culture.

Critical Interfaces

  • Walmart Replenishment / Inventory Management and related customer contacts
  • Unilever Customer Business Managers and Customer Strategy partners
  • Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Transportation, and Deployment teams
  • Data Engineering / Analytics, Power BI, Anaplan, SAP, and automation support partners
  • Category, Shopper, Customer Operations, and leadership stakeholders as needed

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Analytics, Operations, or related field required; advanced analytics or supply chain certification is a plus.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in CPFR, customer replenishment, demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, customer operations, or analytics; Walmart experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain understanding, including demand signals, order flow, supply planning, fulfillment, inventory, transportation, modular transitions, and promotional execution.
  • Advanced analytical capability using Excel and Power BI, with working knowledge of SAP, Retail Link / Luminate, Anaplan, SQL, Databricks, Alteryx, or similar tools preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights, clear recommendations, and customer-facing narratives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority and hold partners accountable to actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, improve processes, develop scalable ways of working, and coach or mentor others.
  • Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to stay three steps ahead, manage ambiguity, prioritize what counts, and deliver with excellence.

Success Measures

  • Improvement in Walmart in-stock performance and reduced avoidable out-of-stocks.
  • Sustained service recovery progress across dispatch, fill rate, OTIF-related drivers, and customer replenishment performance.
  • Improved forecast quality, clearer customer demand signals, and better alignment between Walmart needs and Unilever planning inputs.
  • Reduced manual reporting through scalable dashboards, trackers, or automated insights.
  • Stronger cross-functional operating rhythm with timely escalations, crisp recommendations, and clear ownership.
  • Successful execution of promotions, modular transitions, hard transitions, and lifecycle events with minimized customer disruption.
