About the role
We're looking for an experienced CPA who is ready for greater client ownership, continued technical growth, and the opportunity to help develop others. You'll work directly with clients, manage complex tax engagements, provide planning and advisory support, and play an important role in the continued growth of our Elk River practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
- Provide planning and advisory support for individual and business taxation, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and trusts/estates
- Research complex tax matters and communicate recommendations clearly
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with an advisory mindset
- Mentor and support developing professionals
Requirements
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience preferred
- Strong experience with individual and business taxation
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance and planning
- Ability to communicate directly and confidently with clients
- Interest in mentoring and supporting developing professionals
- UltraTax CS experience preferred
- Nonprofit tax experience is a plus
