Senior Counsel - Transactions, Product & Privacy

What You’ll Do

• Draft, negotiate, and manage high volume of commercial agreements across the business, from partnerships to vendor and customer contracts.
• Counsel product teams on legal and regulatory questions as new products and features come to market.
• Guide privacy and data protection, building practical, scalable compliance into how products work.
• Support strategic deals by structuring and closing partnerships and transactions that move quickly without adding risk.
• Influence early by partnering with stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership to shape decisions before they escalate.
• Manage multi-dimensional legal projects with limited supervision, applying advanced judgment to balance legal, policy, and business priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• A J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of legal experience, built on a strong law foundation, ideally with time in-house at a high-growth company.
• Deep commercial contracts experience and ability to run a high volume of agreements independently.
• Exposure to product counseling and/or privacy and data protection, and comfort building practical compliance.
• Sharp judgment and a business-first mindset, translating complex legal issues into clear guidance for non-lawyers.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and moves quickly without losing rigor.

What Else You Need To Know

• The role is based in our Los Angeles office.
• This role is full-time exempt.
• The base salary range for this role is $195,000 - $229,000 per year.
