About the Role

Join Tyson & Mendes as a California-licensed Senior Counsel with strong Lemon Law defense experience to represent manufacturers and corporate clients in high-exposure Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and consumer litigation matters across California. Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies.
  • Reject mediocrity and strive for excellence in all aspects of litigation.
  • Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys at all experience levels.
  • Maintain routine communications with clients.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active license with the State Bar of California.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, including deposition and trial preparation.
  • 5+ years of Lemon Law defense litigation experience.
  • 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience.
  • 2+ years of General Liability defense experience.
  • Ability to manage full case handling, including discovery and trial.
  • Insurance defense experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Pay

Base salary: $160,000–$190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating $7,500 per tier.
