About the role
We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Counsel/Legal Director, Supply Chain for our Electrophysiology and Neurovascular businesses.
Responsibilities
- Serving as Lead Attorney to the Electrophysiology and Neurovascular Supply Chain Leadership Team;
- Leading the legal support provided to the Electrophysiology and Neurovascular Sourcing Team;
- Leading the legal support for External Manufacturing and MedTech procurement;
- Offering supervision and advice to the members of the Contract Management Organization;
- Providing strategic legal advice and pragmatic, risk-based, legal counsel on supply chain issues;
- Managing the drafting and negotiation of complex supply (chain) agreements;
- Advising on proposed regulations and helping to shape the response to these regulations;
- Overseeing management of outside counsel relationships;
- Facilitating training and education efforts;
- Coordinating support for MedTech manufacturing facilities in the EMEA region.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensed attorney with 8+ years of relevant practicing legal experience preferred;
- Experience of managing, drafting, and negotiating complex agreements;
- Experience or strong interest in the healthcare sector and the MedTech sector;
- Proven track record of anticipating, assessing, and mitigating legal risk;
- Experience in building alignment across a multi-functional team;
- Ability to provide outstanding legal services to senior executives;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent in written and oral English;
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and ability to simplify complicated issues;
- Experience of Supply Chain contracts, technology outsourcing and/or software/technology procurement would be advantageous.
