About the role
We are seeking a strategic legal expert to lead global intellectual-property initiatives, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global IP strategies
- Advise executive leadership on IP risks, opportunities, and licensing matters
- Manage IP litigation, enforcement actions, and dispute resolution
- Oversee patent and trademark filings worldwide
- Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements (licensing, technology transfer, joint development, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with international IP laws and regulations
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to identify, protect, and monetize innovative assets
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Admission to a U.S. state bar
- Active registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (patent bar certification)
- 7+ years of IP-focused legal experience, with a strong emphasis on patents, trademarks, and copyrights
