Senior Counsel, Corporate

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a Media environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on acquisitions, investments, and corporate governance matters
• Perform due diligence and negotiate acquisition agreements
• Evaluate and manage investment transactions
• Assist with corporate finance and capital markets
• Develop relationships across departments and teams
• Aid with securities law and SEC filing preparations
• Manage corporate governance for the company and subsidiaries
• Drive process improvements and implement AI efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. State bar
• 8+ years of corporate law experience in-house or at a law firm
• 8+ years handling M&A, investment, and financing transactions (preferred)
• In-house experience at a tech or e-commerce company (preferred)

Pay

$251,000 – $377,000 annually
