Key Responsibilities
- Business partnership and Legal risk optimization leadership for the agreed upon subsidiaries, functions, and areas of the law.
- This person will also work with the Associate General Counsels in partnering with the business in other areas.
- Supervise and lead outside counsel and array of subject matter experts to optimize Pella’s risk profile to achieve Pella’s goals.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
- Proven history of partnering with business leadership to maximize business results and optimize risk profile.
- Ability to solve problems in an uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment.
- Ability to move with speed and agility with a high sense of urgency & willingness to act.
- Learning, caring and results oriented and embraces a winning mindset.
- Drives change through continuous improvement.
- Leads courageously with the ability to collaborate and influence cross functionally.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- J.D. from an accredited university and licensed to practice law.
