What You Will Do
- Independently lead and negotiate complex commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Advise on matters related to software licensing, product sales, claims, and purchasing.
- Help shape software licensing strategy, including new licensing models and evolving customer use cases.
- Advisory senior stakeholders on high-value, time-critical transactions, balancing speed with sound judgment.
- Collaborate closely with Legal colleagues and business teams across regions, functions, and cultures.

Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited university; admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- 5–15 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multinational in-house or law firm environment.
- Strong experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements.
- Solid background in software licensing transactions.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions; semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
- Fully fluent in written and spoken English.
Work model
- Hybrid work model: minimum 3 days per week in the Austin, Texas office; up to 2 days remote.
- Occasional travel required.
