Senior Counsel

Job Details

This is a Senior Counsel position focused on complex, high-exposure litigation. You will handle matters from early strategy through resolution, working closely with leadership on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation. Practice exposure includes: Complex commercial litigation, Fiduciary litigation, Professional malpractice, Real estate disputes, Construction defect, Insurance defense and coverage, Employment litigation, General tort litigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sophisticated litigation matters
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare cases for trial, including strategy and witness development
• Work closely with clients on high-level legal issues
• Mentor junior attorneys where appropriate

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of litigation experience
• Strong background in complex civil litigation (defense preferred)
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-level work product
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience is a plus
