Senior Counsel
Job Details
This is a Senior Counsel position focused on complex, high-exposure litigation. You will handle matters from early strategy through resolution, working closely with leadership on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation. Practice exposure includes: Complex commercial litigation, Fiduciary litigation, Professional malpractice, Real estate disputes, Construction defect, Insurance defense and coverage, Employment litigation, General tort litigation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sophisticated litigation matters
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare cases for trial, including strategy and witness development
- Work closely with clients on high-level legal issues
- Mentor junior attorneys where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of litigation experience
- Strong background in complex civil litigation (defense preferred)
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-level work product
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience is a plus
