For our client, we are seeking a Senior Cost & Price Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This remote role will focus on evaluating contract costs, pricing data, and proposal support within a federal government contracting environment. The position partners closely with contracting officers and proposal teams to assess cost realism, compliance, and the quality of supporting documentation. The work is centered on helping the organization make sound source selection decisions through accurate financial analysis and clear reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in cost and price analysis, audit support, and federal acquisition regulations to strengthen pricing integrity and support compliant decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $140,000 – $155,000 annually Responsibilities Analyze each cost element for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness Verify direct labor rates and validate indirect rates against established policies Evaluate subcontractor proposal analysis for cost assessment Assess the contractor's estimating system for compliance with accounting practices Verify accuracy and completeness of current cost or pricing data Determine realism of proposed costs against technical requirements Prepare cost realism reports to support source selection Support the contracting officer in best value tradeoff analysis with cost documentation Qualifications Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in federal government contracting At least 5 years of direct cost/price analysis or auditing experience Experience with CAS administration and FAR Part 31 cost allowability Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and calculations Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field Active Secret security clearance required U.S. citizenship is mandatory Benefits Market-based compensation strategy aligned with individual qualifications Total compensation package considers education and experience Opportunities for professional development within a growing organization Supportive work environment with a mission-driven focus Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
