Senior Cost Consultant

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will own cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards that support project execution and contract negotiations in a fast-moving consumer technology environment. The Senior Cost Consultant will partner closely with Engineering to define scope requirements, produce accurate project data, and keep cost information aligned with changing project needs. This position also plays a key role in quantity takeoffs, unit rate development, and coordination of cost reports to strengthen decision-making and control. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Manage scope changes effectively.
• Define scope requirements and collaborate with Engineering to produce required data.
• Create quantity takeoffs based on various documents or assumptions.
• Develop and apply unit rates to quantity takeoffs and other discipline quantities.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; preferably in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
• Certified Cost Professional certification from AACE International or a similar certification required.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup processes.

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
