Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost reports for various departments within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cost control systems.
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is an On-site position requiring 40 hours per week.
