Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for OpenVMS, including system operations, scripting (DCL), and legacy application support.
- Support and maintain applications written in CorVision Database.
- Support systems utilizing RDB (OpenVMS), Oracle SQL, and legacy data integrations.
- Maintain and expand the existing documentation repository, ensuring all operational, recovery, and support procedures are up to date.
- Affiliate in transition activities as systems migrate away from OpenVMS toward modern, cloud-aligned platforms.
- Support data migration and process mapping efforts in partnership with modernization teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience supporting OpenVMS environments.
- Hands-on experience with DCL scripting, CorVision, and legacy business logic.
- Strong experience in RDB.
- Ability to manage complex production workloads with high reliability and low tolerance for downtime.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
