Senior Corporate Communications Specialist

About the role

Expertly executes on Corporate Communications strategy. Delivers on writing and editorial production efforts. Understands regional nuances. Executes communication plans and strategy that align with and activate on the UL brand strategy to build and protect UL's market presence and reputation. Supports measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality content aligned with corporate communications strategy
• Develop and execute communication plans that support UL's brand strategy
• Support measurement and reporting of communication initiatives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness
• Apply strategic frameworks and business acumen to project planning and management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and communicate technical and scientific issues
• Use Microsoft Office and various marketing technology tools to manage projects

Qualifications

• Degree in communication, marketing or a related field
• 5-7 years of related experience or demonstrated competency
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills
• Demonstrated project planning and management skills
• Basic business acumen
• Ability to apply strategic frameworks
• Budget tracking skills
• Knowledge of analytical fundamentals
• Ability to work in a matrix environment
• Able to understand and translate technical and scientific issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a wide array of marketing technology and communication tools

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 USD, based on job-related knowledge/skills, experience, and geographical location.

Schedule

This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary.
