Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations & Controls
- Support the ongoing refinement and documentation of operational and accounting procedures.
- Aid in developing and maintaining accounting controls.
- Prepare or support the preparation of corporate general ledger journal entries.
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules.
- Coordinate ad-hoc accounting analysis and special projects.
- Financial Close, Reporting & Reconciliations
- Contribute to monthly internal and external reporting activities.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review financial information and summarize observations.
- Assist with coordination with external auditors.
- Analysis & Business Support
- Analyze financial data and prepare summaries and recommendations.
- Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts.
- Compile departmental budgets and validate assumptions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting.
- Shared Services, AP/AR & Operational Collaboration
- Oversee and review shared-service team activities.
- Build strong relationships with Operations.
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Support treasury activities.
- Monitor daily cash positions.
- Prepare cash movement schedules.
- Update bank reporting files.
- Assist with short-term cash forecasting.
- Maintain banking documentation and comply with internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SQL.
- Professional development (e.g., CPA or other relevant certifications) is welcomed and supported but not required.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
- Ability to reach, stand, walk, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motion.
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
- Must be capable of traveling by car or airplane as needed to support business activities.
