Senior Analyst Corporate Accounting
About the role
This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN. This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical partner managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close by preparing journal entries, processing billings, compiling reports, and creating queries or Excel-based analyses.
- Analyze financial performance to identify trends and important causes affecting the Balance Sheet and P&L.
- Partner with internal and external auditors, and technical accounting teams, to ensure accurate accounting treatment of complex transactions.
- Work with auditors and teams to resolve issues and respond to data requests.
- Cook with third-party providers to gather required data for journal entries, billing processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliverables You'll Take Ownership Of:
- Manage revenue recognition for application, IT, and opening fees.
- Maintain the Asset Management System for revenue-related assets.
- Review corporate-managed revenue for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience applying the principles and practical applications of GAAP.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
Qualifications
- BA/BS bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in Corporate Financial Analysis is preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
