Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for one of our clients, a global leader in the financial services industry. The Senior Corporate Accountant will manage complex financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and oversee month-end and year-end close processes. This role supports high-stakes decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Pay

$110K – $150K/yr
