Senior Accountant - Corporate Tax - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Accountant - Corporate Tax - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on corporate tax compliance, tax provision work, and the review of federal and state income tax filings in a complex regulatory environment. The position also supports tax research, responds to jurisdiction notices, and partners with auditors on state tax matters. In addition, the accountant will contribute to process improvements and tax technology enhancements that strengthen efficiency and accuracy. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $105,000 annually Responsibilities Assist with state audit requests and coordinate with auditors on tax issues Support improvements in tax technology and processes for efficiency enhancement Research tax implications of moderately complex business transactions Prepare and review tax work papers, calculations, and compliance forms Review federal and state income tax returns, including combined returns Analyze tax regulations and prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions Respond to notices from tax jurisdictions and manage compliance inquiries Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, preferably including public accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Master's degree in Accounting or Tax preferred Experience with tax software such as OneSource; familiarity with modern tools like AI technology is a plus Strong research skills in interpreting federal and state tax regulations Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Life insurance and critical illness insurance Disability benefits and retirement savings plan Paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick leave Parental leave policy Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
