Senior Copywriter
About the Role
Create compelling, technically accurate, and strategically aligned content that supports business objectives across multiple brands and channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills combined with a working knowledge of turf and ornamental products, animal health markets, industry terminology, and corporate communications. Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences including distributors, industry professionals, veterinarians, turf managers, and end users/consumers across all business units.
Reports to: Director of Creative Services
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and proofread marketing and technical content for digital and print channels.
- Create product-focused copy including brochures, sell sheets, websites, email campaigns, advertisements, product labels, presentations, and educational materials.
- Produce content supporting turf management and animal health products and initiatives while maintaining technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with product managers, technical services teams, sales leadership, regulatory personnel, and marketing stakeholders to develop messaging strategies and content plans.
- Translate technical, scientific, and product information into customer-focused content that clearly communicates value propositions and benefits.
- Maintain consistent voice, tone, and messaging standards across all companies and communication platforms.
- Conduct research on industry trends, customer behaviors, competitive products, and emerging topics relevant to turf management and animal health markets.
- Support development of content for trade publications, public relations initiatives, case studies, white papers, blogs, and social media campaigns.
- Review and revise content based on stakeholder feedback while meeting project deadlines and business objectives.
- Ensure all materials comply with company branding guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Creative Services, Marcom designers, and cross-functional team members to develop integrated content and creative solutions that deliver high-quality, effective, and visually compelling printed and digital materials.
- Perform additional duties assigned to support business objectives.
Safety Responsibilities

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, agricultural communications, animal science, turf management, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional copywriting experience required. Demonstrated experience within turf management, agricultural, animal health, veterinary, or related industries required.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of turf management terminology, products, and customer audiences.
- Knowledge of animal health products, practices, and industry communication requirements preferred.
- Experience writing both technical and promotional content.
- Portfolio demonstrates successful marketing and content development work required.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and marketing automation tools preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimization preferred.
- Familiarity with and working knowledge of AI preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common content creation tools.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, field locations, trade events, or industry meetings.
