SENIOR COOK (ON CALL)

About the role

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking an immediate hire for an on-call SENIOR COOK position at Cafe Carnival located at 3655 Northwest 87th Avenue, Doral, FL 33178. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is on-call, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, or Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
• Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy.
• Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Aids in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Aids in cross-training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous batch cooking experience.
• Knife skills.
• High-volume cooking experience.
• Dietary and allergen training.
• Catering cooking experience.
