Senior Cook - Nutrition Services
About the role
This position is responsible for preparing food products utilizing basic and advanced cooking techniques, standardized recipes, and plating guidelines, while meeting production schedules in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures. You will process food items, ensure proper utilization and storage of food and supplies, and maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work areas. Additional responsibilities include participating in recipe and menu development, showcasing culinary skills and products, and performing related tasks as required.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent from a college or technical school, or formalized apprenticeship — or 1 year of professional line cook experience in a full-service establishment (may substitute for degree or apprenticeship).
- National Food Handler Card (required upon hire).
- 1 year of professional line cook experience in a full-service establishment using fresh ingredients and standardized recipes.
- 6 months of high-volume line cooking experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $29.68 - $41.08 per hour. These amounts reflect the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
