About the role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that enhance the efficiency and reliability of power generation facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation systems for power generation facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and compliance with industry standards
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power generation or automation engineering
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, control theory, and power generation principles
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial networking technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with renewable energy sources is a plus
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
