About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our Mission Critical Team, specializing in the design and deployment of industrial control systems for rapidly expanding data center markets. This position is remote and requires 25% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a team member supporting project execution from design through implementation.
  • Develop and modify design documentation, including drawing packages, method of procedures, sequence of operations, and testing scripts.
  • Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC and HMI programs.
  • Provide onsite support for commissioning system design changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in industrial HVAC, BMS, or EPMS applications for data center environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with industrial control system applications.
  • Experience with process instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level, etc.) and competency in performing calibrations and loop checks.
  • PLC experience: Successfully completed at least one project with Rockwell PLCs programming software; capable of developing from scratch and working independently.
  • Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
  • Experience working in industrial construction environments and a clean safety record.
  • Willingness to travel 30% (periodic travel to remote project sites).
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Schneider Unity Pro, Citect/Power SCADA, Wonderware, and Rockwell ControlLogix.
  • SCADA experience: Successfully completed at least one project with the Ignition Perspective software platform; capable of developing from scratch and working independently.
  • Experience commissioning in “live” environments.
