Responsibilities

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team to meet project milestones through:
    • Control panel and hardware design
    • Pneumatic system layout
    • Electrical schematics and drawings
    • Machine electrical distribution layout
    • Software design (PLC/HMI)
    • Safety control system design
    • Create equipment specifications
    • Comply with applicable safety standards and codes
    • Equipment control system design, integration, and commissioning
  • Support creation of equipment specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of experience in machine control system design, build, and equipment commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience in machine control system design, build, and equipment commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in machine control system design, build, integration, and commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience using Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens industrial control systems and software
  • Experience working with automation technologies, including servo motion and robotics
  • Experience designing, integrating, and commissioning custom, design-build, or OEM equipment
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support engineering, manufacturing, or project delivery activities

Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Competitive compensation range of $106,000 - $145,750, including base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible
