Senior Contracts Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Administers, extends, negotiates and supports contract closeout of standard and non-standard contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Supports risk reviews for solicitations, ensures terms and condition compliance, completes proposal compliance checks (color team participation), responsible for completion of any representations and certifications, assists with proposal and pricing strategy, supports the development of the contracts volume (to include any OCI Mitigation Plans), and serves as the negotiator for any resultant contract negotiation.
  • Advises program team of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
  • Maintains program performance for conformance to original proposal and conducts continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
  • Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
  • Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
  • Maintains contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
  • Supports non-disclosure agreement and teaming agreement negotiations between company and outside sources.
  • Fosters trusting relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensures the contracts system as well as filing is up-to-date in accordance with policies and procedures and supports general ad hoc reporting and tasking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Experience supporting federal civilian sector customers.
  • Experience supporting state and local government contracts.
  • Experience with large IDIQs and resulting Task Orders (preferred).
  • Working knowledge/understanding of FAR.
  • Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
  • Experience with the development and negotiation of bids.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of contract types.
  • Strong writing and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
  • Highly adaptable to change.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance.
