Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals and customer correspondence in accordance with commercial and Government requirements.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions applicable to orders and other services provided by North Wind.
- Review and execute non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, certifications, and other contract related documents.
- Manage compliance areas and requirements in accordance with federal regulations per FAR and DFAR.
- Manage contract reporting and associated plans including financial reporting, small business plans and government property system.
- Provide contract closeout and financial documents.
- Manage contract milestones and deliverables to ensure all contract commitments are achieved.
- Oversee government delivery requirements as well as commercial and foreign regulations.
- Analyze and apply controls including CUI and U.S. export laws and regulations, including EAR and ITAR.
- Provide guidance and support related to contract requirements to cross-functional areas.
- Manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines, including short-turn requirements.
- Maintain company training programs for employee contract compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in related disciplines or a combination of education and experience equivalent to above
- Familiarity with government contracts, including FAR and DFARS
- Working knowledge of U.S. Export Control and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Excellent business judgment and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
