About the role

Join our team as a Senior Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Lockheed Martin. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives across various business units.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and drive implementation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of continuous improvement efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor progress against improvement targets and report results to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
