About the role

The Senior Consumer Relationship Banker role at Regions is dedicated to making life better for customers and communities. This position offers opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility, focusing on acquiring and deepening existing customer relationships, particularly with Preferred Banking Households.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves individual and branch targets by proactively identifying customer needs and providing advanced guidance on Regions' solutions
  • Conducts outbound phone calls to Preferred Banking and other consumer households to expand relationships and acquire new customers
  • Works in partnership with the Branch Team to manage a portfolio of Preferred Banking Households
  • Edits and advises customers on Regions' Consumer and Business products and services, including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance
  • Shares responsibility for day-to-day branch responsibilities, including greeting customers and processing transactions
  • Owns and resolves customer issues, referring customers to internal experts when necessary
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for junior-level bankers, supporting team development
  • Tracks and reports hours worked in excess of 40 per week, eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
  • Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
  • Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
  • Work Saturdays as needed
  • Lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Qualifications

  • Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay range varies by location and position level
