Major Duties
- Solves complex problems
- Takes a new perspective on existing solutions
- Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Impacts a range of client, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams
- Identifies and implements process improvements
- Works independently to manage the most complex client relationships (evaluating and responding to client inquiries, determining service requirements, providing training, producing client reporting, and helping clients interpret financial metrics to understand the impact of their investment decisions)
- Manages client relationships, with an active awareness of all IRAS products, profitability, and commercial opportunities, and proactive risk mitigation
- Interfaces with senior staff at Northern Trust and/or client offices (CIOs, Treasurers, Directors of Investments), without oversight
- Provides leadership to internal IRAS, operations, and client servicing partners to problem solve the most complex client issues and requests
- Leads client projects and provides solutions to client requests
- Aids management with strategic projects and initiatives
- Participates in sales process for prospective and existing clients, as the IRAS subject matter knowledge expert

Experience
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
Provides formal and informal guidance to less tenured team members
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, technology or related field
