Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate business contact with client
  • Maintain and update client information in the Applied/Epic system and shared drive
  • Build relationships with assigned clients and respond promptly to their requests
  • Discuss future insurance needs with producers and prepare insurance specifications
  • Prepare insurance proposals and check policies for accuracy
  • Identify new insurance products and policies for clients
  • Avoid uninsured claims by offering appropriate coverage
  • Organize and coordinate pre-renewal and renewal meetings, and claims reviews
  • Assist the accounting department with billing discrepancies

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance coverage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to navigate vendor or agency management systems
  • Proficiency in Applied/Epic or willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to manage client needs and multiple tasks
  • Good organization skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Local travel for client needs

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant disposition
  • Mergers & Acquisition/Private Equity experience preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the P&C field

Pay

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
