Senior Consultant, Health Care
Description
The Senior Health Care Consultant will work closely with firm management to lead complex internal and external projects. This will involve hands-on work with client staff, providers, executives, vendors and other stakeholders to successfully implement innovative care models and improve health outcomes. Project scopes may focus on clinical redesign, financial modeling, network development, strategic planning, data analytics and/or organizational transformation. This position requires an in-depth working knowledge of the health care environment and market issues at the federal, state and local level.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of health care consulting experience preferred
- Master’s degree in an applicable field strongly preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA, MPA)
- Prior experience in at least two of the following areas strongly preferred: Network Development, Care Management, Clinical Redesign, Behavioral Health
- Strong project management skills required
- Strong customer drive and dedication to quality and success
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Open to traveling up to 50%
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects with a team in a fast-paced environment
